All bearers of the Planet Positive mark have measured and made a commitment to ongoing emissions reduction. Crucially, they have also gone the extra mile by taking Action – they have made a positive contribution to local communities and global society through carbon offsetting or donations to community projects.

The Planet Positive logo signifies a high standard of environmental achievement. Businesses, products and individuals carrying this mark are immediately identified as good for the planet.

Our mission is to take positive action on climate change by providing a clear and accessible route for individuals and businesses to cut emissions. We provide a certified and recognised global mark and a growing list of carbon-reducing products and services.

Planet Positive requires that organisations, products, events and people working towards Planet Positive certification contribute to the creation of a better world, as well as measuring, reducing and reporting on their carbon impacts. We call this contribution Act.

Action can take many forms. Companies can support sustainable development in the developing world by purchasing carbon credits to offset their footprint by 110% and contributing a portion of the offset cost to community projects. Or, they can donate to local community projects, Planet Positive Community Carbon Fund projects, developing world community projects, and the protection of the rainforest. The choice is theirs.
